Quick Facts

Jewelers Tiffany & Co., based in New York, are responsible for making the Super Bowl trophy

With four days left before players report to training camp, four drafted Carolina Panthers remained unsigned, including first-round picks Jonathan Stewart and Jeff Otah, third-round pick Charles Godfrey and seventh-round selection Geoff Schwartz.

Why Schwartz isn't done by now I have no idea, but look for the Panthers to wrap up his deal and Godfrey's contract in the next two days.

Little information, however, remains available about the progress on talks with both first-round picks as the team attempts to avoid the distraction of a rookie holdout for the second straight year. (Jon Beason held out last year). The agents for Stewart and Otah aren't returning phone calls at this point and Panthers GM Marty Hurney doesn't discuss ongoing contract negotiations with the media.
