Who might be available when we pick(is it no. 47 overall?)I keep reading Bradford will be the first QB taken then Claussen. Do you think Colt McCoy could be available when we pick? I know we need WR and d-line help but everything I read say's McCoy is a very impressive leader. He is a very accurate passer. Maybe he is the next Brees. I think if a QB prospect this good was available when we pick I would take him. All that being said I still think Matt Moore can be the guy, but we have to get some good prospects at the QB position. |

Re: Who might be available when we pick(is it no. 47 overall?)im not big on colt mccoy... i think he is like tebow, great college player, strictly backup material in the pro game. i was impressed with dan lefeavor from central michigan until he showed a weak arm at the combine. |

Re: Who might be available when we pick(is it no. 47 overall?)After signing Moore to a 1st and 3rd tender, I don't think the Panthers would draft a QB THAT high if at all. I think (or rather hope) they'd go WR or best available with our first pick (as it stands). |

The thing that impresses me about McCoy are his results and that Roger Staubach (who I think was an all time great team leader) thinks McCoy is a great team leader and great character person. I think he is Tim Tebow with better QB skills. |

I hate to say this but it's a lineman and secondary draft. So I say DT Brian Price from UCLA. I watched all his games, so UNDERATED mark my words he'll be a probowl player. |

Re: Who might be available when we pick(is it no. 47 overall?)i imagine they will sign one or the other as a FA...WR or a DE...this leaves the second round pick open for the position of need...WR or DE which ever was not signed as a FA. That said...I am also good with the club selecting the best available player off their draft board...be that a wr, de, lb, ol, qb or db with this draft pick.... |
