Marshall tendered at 2nd round...

This is cheap and he might draw interest from other teams since he is still very young. My theory why he was offered a low tender is due to Carolina being fine with another team signing him. Since last year we proved our secondary is deep, and we would get the bonus of a draft pick in return.

to me this shows how high the team is on captain munnerlyn. 


also matt moore got the highest possible, a 1st and 3rd if he signs somewhere else

also, per the charlotte observer, "The Panthers will not make offers on kicker Rhys Lloyd, safety Quenton Teal or offensive tackle Rob Petitti, making those two players unrestricted free agents, able to sign with any team without any compensation to the Panthers."

That's good they signed Moore to the highest tender, it shows how high they are on him. If they didn't believe he was the QB of the future, they would put him at a tender level that would tempt other teams to pick him up.

So it's time to welcome the Matt Moore era, I hope he takes this opportunity and runs with it.

Also I believe Llyod shouldn't have been tendered, even though some people on this board really like him. His leg wasn't there anymore, this year in the draft they should draft a kicker to groom for future replacement.

All and all, Carolina made the right decisions on their tenders, now it's time to hear their plans for Brayton and Moose

This is awesome!!

All the right people got the right tenders.

And there were people on here who didn't think it would get done.

I am a little suprised at the 2nd rounder to Marshall.  I wouldn't expected at least a first rounder for him, but we'll see what happens.

I'm happy that Lloyd didn't get a tender, I don't know if it was Crossman being an idiot or if it was Lloyd squib kicking it so much towards the end of the season.
