Hey we signed someone!!!

WR Wallace Wright, formerly of the Jets.
Wright, 26, a special teamer.

The former undrafted free agent out of North Carolina has caught just eight passes in four seasons as a pro.

Rotoworld has it listed that Darin Gantt reported it on Twitter.

"This is blood for blood and by the gallon. These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left. And I'm ready for war."

Yeah, this is the kind of action we will get throughout FA. Sign some guys who will fill certain roles on our team, and not impact players. I like to see moves like this because we really need to improve our special teams; it hasn't been good in years.

Panthers website is reporting this too.  Not a big, flashy move....but a move nonetheless.  I don't hate it.

Re: Hey we signed someone!!!

Panthers get active in free agency, sign ex-Jets WR
The Panthers finally dipped a toe in the free-agent pool Monday, even if it was the shallow end.

The Panthers signed former New York Jets receiver Wallace Wright. He's a special teamer, which they need. A native of Fayetteville and a former North Carolina Tar Heel, the 26-year-old Wright has eight career receptions.

The 6-foot-1, 201-pound Wright was a restricted free agent, but wasn't tendered by New York, setting him free.
