After attending last nights game I feel not as hopeless as before.  Baltimore is one of the best teams in the league and Flacco has really matured from last year to this year.  I thought our run defense seemed better, not great but better than last 2 weeks.  Jake could play better and Gamble sucked.  I thought our run game  was good. We could run when we had to against one of the best defensive units in the league.  I feel for some reason, I'll blame injuries, that our whole team is not as far along  as they should be.  Smitty and Moose look good.  Moore might be the number 3 receiver and I feel TE is a position of strength.  I  think at this point if we can get healthy we will be okay.  Since Baltimore is not known as a throwing team our pass defense concerns me.  We played one of the best teams in the league who I believe had all their starters and we played with our 3rd string back(best 3rd back in the league maybe) without 2 starting linebackers and without our starting free safety.  After last week I was concerned but I feel somewhat  better this week.  I wonder if our late camp start and our short camp has put us a week behind other teams.  Kind of seems that way to me.
