I see DEAD people

Our offense and defense that's who. They are all dead. The only one's playing with any real passion are the rookies and the players who will get cut this week. Gamble, Pep, Gross, Diggs, Lewis, Jarrett, all look dead out there. The worry watch is officially on. I'm the most optimistic fan there is but we just have no passion out there ya'll. N O N E. Reminiscent of 2004's team. I guess the curse is true-we have a great season and come back stupified the next. Injuries, no passion, the Pep saga, poor tackling all make for a long season. But just like in 2002, I'll be there for every minute of it and love it all. Oh well, just isn't our year unless something changes.

I agree that we should be worried, but I ain't writting off this season until the start of the regular season.  You never know....we may pick up a DT that is better than Hayden, get our guys back healthy, and learn to freaking tackle in 2 weeks.  Hey it could happen.

Yeah definitely not writing the season off but something needs to be doen on D BIG TIME!!!!

Getting Beason and Davis and probably even Godfrey will help in my opinion but how much?

Beason and Davis would be a HUGE help on those dump-off passes that Flacco and Rice were burning on us Saturday night.

Yeah against the Ravens it would have especially Davis but we need pressure on the QB or else or secondary will be hurt all year....again.

if we can't get pressure on the QB, then Gamble will always look silly, backs will always have the advantage over backers and our defense will look atrocious...

i am banking on the fact that meeks isn't showing all of our blitz packages during the pre-season...With peppers and brown we should be able to get adequate pressure to have a pretty sound defense...

if we don't blitz/get pressure we are in for a long season, and San Fran will be picking twice in the top 10 next year, a pick we could have used to snag bradford, mccoy, tebow, snead, etc...

on the other hand if we do blitz/get pressure, we wont be picking until 32 in the second round...we have the pieces provided we stay healthy and jake makes wise decisions...

very unlikely, but its always possible
