Re: Deangelo WilliamsNo they actually like to extend people before it is time to do so historically within the Panthers organization. We tried to get Gross, Gamble, and Pep signed during the year last year but only Gamble signed. We have been this way forever. |

Re: Deangelo WilliamsHopefully thay can get Williams extended ASAP. If it comes to it, hopefully they will franchise him over Peppers. Having said that, he seems to be a player who is happy in Carolina, so if a deal isn't worked by the end of the season, they may trust D-Will enough to franchise Peppers (so they can trade him for a couple picks), and still be able to sign D-Will without worries. |
