Re: Louis Leonard, Carolina Panthers new DT

My biggest concern is the fact that scouts questioned his intensity/effort coming out of college(according to scout.com). Keyword: Effort. But the Panthers organization wouldn't take a chance on him if they didn't think he would give his all, right?

yeah but that was three years ago.  A lot can change in a guy in that ammount of time.

Usually but it seems harder when they are moving around a lot which is the case with this guy.

Haha, he obviously isn't good at "getting to the qb" because the Browns, who have a worse pass rush than us are getting rid of him

Wonders if "used to" is the same as "good"?

And apparently the only reason he was traded is bc they want to let Corey develop.  They felt good enough about him to let him fill in for Rodgers.

Re: Louis Leonard, Carolina Panthers new DT

Well this year he will help replace the loss of Maake but next year it could put two big guys in the middle. Out run D will be helped a lot if that is the case. With Brown and Peppers on the outside as speed guys it could work very well...

Re: Louis Leonard, Carolina Panthers new DT

He would have to prove that he's better than Lewis in order for him to start along side Maake. & from what I'm hearing, Kemo could be a cap casualty next year. He's coming off this career threatening injury, he's 31, and he's due to get $9.3 mil in March.
