Well, in my emmy nominated post above, I laid out some very viable scenarios.  Pick your favorite.

One other thought:

Maybe they recieved a business opportunity from a prince in Nigeria via email about how they could help him move his frozen assets through their bank accounts and be able to double or, dare I say it, TRIPLE their investments.

I highly doubt that the team is leaving Charlotte.  The Panthers have a solid fan base that is continually growing and it would not be wise (IF the team was sold) to just pick it up and move it to another city. I wouldn't worry until we hear that the team is up for sale.

There are already multiple outlets posting that the Panthers are without a doubt not being sold or moved.
