Our Draft, What we should doI'm 99% sure were going to get the first over all draft pick and with that we need to pick a monster of a O-linemen (i know this has been mentioned befor but bear with me) such as Derek Sherrod 6-6 305lbs, or Mike Pouncey 6-5 320lbs, since we dont have a second we should see if anyone would give a first or a very high second for J-stew. (we wont get rid of D-will and goodson has proved so far to be a good back) and if a team takes J-stew we should draft a destructive DT like Nick Fairley, or Jarvis Jenkins.

Re: Our Draft, What we should doWould you pass on peyton manning, john elway, john unitas, tom brady, joe montana? Andrew Luck might be the the next great QB. I will be crushed if we pass on him. I'm afraid if you pass on Luck you will feel like Portland trail blazers taking sam bowie and passing on mike jordan. |

Re: Our Draft, What we should doif we get the first pick which its pretty much 99% sure we will, you have to take Luck. People are beginning to throw his name in the Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and John Elways. Take him and don't make this franchise look like a fool |

Re: Our Draft, What we should doAmen jayman. I would rather take him have him turn out like Ryan Leaf than not take him and have him turn out to be great. I read somewhere best prospect since Elway or Manning. I love the way he plays, he is Rothlisberger with wheels he is pretty fast and seems to be a very accurate passer. Who was more important to there teams Montana or Rice? Unitas or Berry? Bradshaw or Swann? You cannot pass on potential franchise QB's. If anyone passes on Luck they will be a laughing stock. |

Re: Our Draft, What we should doYeah cakalaka it is getting harder and harder to defend Hurney. He orchestrated Peppers contract that overpaid him and completely hamstrung the team for 3 years. He also gave Delhomme a ridiculous contract. I don't think you will be able to trade the first pick for multiple picks. No team has been able to pull that off recently. Although Luck might be the bait that causes someone to move up. I of course hope we take Luck. |

Re: Our Draft, What we should doBefore we all jump on the Luck bandwagon, we need to keep in mind that he is only a sophomore and may decide to return to school for one more year. It could hurt his draft position in 2012 (it's happened many times in the past that the extra year brings injury or a slump), but considering the possible lockout and no football in 2011, he may wait until the CBA gets worked out/doesn't get worked out to decide. I mean, if you had the option of getting drafted but not playing ball and sitting around trying to stay in shape, or going out for another year of college ball, shooting for a National Championship, what would you do? Something to think about. |
