I do, I miss the passion for the game that he has.

He still did enough to beat us....

Re: Anybody still miss Delhomme?

And he could have been a nice tutor for Clausen and Pike for a year or two. Even if Moore started, Jake would have been a solid 2 or 3. And his passion for the game is unmatched. Although he does seem a bit calmer these days. In the end, he had a pretty decent day. Kind of reminds me of some of our old teams, the Browns. Winning by thin margins, last minute heroics, good defense and a qb who manages but does not dazzle. I didn't realize that Massoui (sp) kid was from Independence. Charlotte blowin up!

Re: Anybody still miss Delhomme?

I'll be honest I don't. I actually don't miss anyone we released with the exception of the traitor. I feel like even if we had Hoover, Diggs, Delhomme and Keamo we would be in the same situation. All I want is for Clausen to show us he can do it and I feel he can. In the draft we need a wideout and dt.

Re: Anybody still miss Delhomme?

I'll be the 1st to agree Jake has lost it and he killed us last year. But sadly he is the closest thing we had for a QB for several years and he did take us to the Super Bowl. The man has a lot of class and he was down to Earth. He signed autographs at training camp and didn't act like a prick like a some of our previous Super Stars. Steve Smith is the same way. They both have a passion for winning. I miss that and winning is a team effort Ownwer , GM and coaches Included.
