McNabb ReleasedNFL Network insider Jason La Canfora has said that Redskins QB Donovan McNabb will be released after one season. Says owner Dan Snyder,"we felt like Donavon wasn't winning games, so it was time..." Snyder also noted that he is looking into QBs Blaine Gabbert, Ryan Mallet, and WR A.J. Green.

Re: McNabb ReleasedThe experts always leaves Carolina out of the equation when it comes to veteran QB's! After all the dust settles, McNabb could end up in Carolina. If all fails with the Kevin Kolb trade. I mean how likely are the Carolina Panthers going to draft a project QB out of this class without a vet to mentor him for a couple of seasons? I just don't buy into that mindset when we have so many holes to fill already period.... |

Re: McNabb ReleasedYeah I have to say, he could teach our young guys a thing or two about overcoming adversity. His fans in Philly hated him but he kept playing hard and got them a lot of wins. I would like to see him come in and play. At least he is a proven guy and not a big question mark like Cam Newton. |

Re: McNabb Releasedin as much as we would like to think he would be...Mcnabb is not know to be guy all that receptive to tutoring young QBs...at least not if they are capable of taking his playing time...LOL...perhaps that would not be a dynamic with the current Panther Q's...and much like Jeff Garcia...McNabb, when stuff is not going his way...he is not all that good in the locker room....
