While it is clear that Blackmon is superior to AJ Green, and would make a great pick for the Panthers next season, it was reported earlier this year that one of the reasons he stayed in school was because he had no desire to play for the Carolina Panthers.

Don't ask me for a link or quote because that was forever ago, but I really lost a lot of respect for him when I heard that.

But, if he is there when we pick next year we should not pass him over.  Dude is a BEAST!

With The addition of Cam Newton, I Think that would excite the young man a good bit. The reason Blackmon went back to school had nothing to do with the Panthers having the 1st pick. He expressed that he had goals that he set for himself & for his team. He also expressed that he still didn't feel it was time for him to take that next step yet & he still wanted to win a national championship. He also expressed that he wanted to get his degree.

This young man Blackmon has a good head on his shoulders. He's totally DOMINATED Akumara, the 1st round CB choice for the NY Giants.

Looking into the Future, We might have to endure a year with no football. I hope that's Not the case but it's a great possibility. But if that does happen we'll end up with another 1st pick 2 years straight. I would Only Trade Back a few if any spots to let someone have their QB. Then I'd go after Blackmon. Even if there is a season next year & we do better than expected, I'd Be willing to do anything to Make this young a Panther. He's a Franchise WR & he will be a Star in the NFL.

Next year if we were to get Blackmon who do you think will be in out third and second wr spot?
