The fact is fumbled punts can lose games.. especially when they come at crunch time.. Wouldnt you hate to look back at the end of the season (hypothetically) after missing the playoffs by a game and say man if we didnt blow that game in again Philly because of that muffed punt.. Two years ago that very thing happened to that team.. The Eagles lost two games because of muffed punts because they did not have a single guy on the roster than could handle punts..

this would be a mistake. hes an absolutly terrible returner and receiver.  great speed but not a football player. why release someone to add him?

Yeah PP.  I am not saying he is great but he is not "terrible" as far as KR by any means.  He avg 23.4 yrds per KR and 10 of his 14 were 20+ yrds long.  Which means he is able to field most of his punts and either makes good decisions or has enough talent to turn them into longer than 20 yrd returns which is what you want.  No WR and PR you may be right but we don't really know as he had little exp in the NFL as a WR and as far as PR while his avg is not great he does have two TDs on PRs in the preseason though.  But he has gotten the easiest 82 yrd PR I have ever seen in my life (versus the Texans in preseason last year).  lol
