Which team?Which team do you feel is most important to beat this year and why? I'm gonna jump out there and say the Eagles. It's the first game, they are/have been the measuring stick in the NFC, and they are more balanced than most (97%) teams. Getting off to a good start is o-so important this year especially so coming out and kicking the Eagles in the teeth week one is paramount. My second pick would be Saints...conference game, play twice, D has something to prove against best offense in NFC. |

Re: Which team?I'd say they're all important to beat, but the two that stand out the most are the cards and giants. Those are two games we should've won last year, but didn't, and it hurt. I want to see heads rolling. |

Re: Which team?I agree with you dareal... This game is really important. It will get the season started right if we pull of a big win. I can not help but to think the Arizona game is a big deal for us though. In the movie Balboa Rocky says to his kid "Its not about how hard you can get hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward." I know it is late in the season but if we come out and pound the tar out of them it will prove the game last year was a fluke. That's just how I see it though. I have an odd sense of calm going into this season. I don't know why but I just feel good about the team... |

Re: Which team?i am with ohforreal. the saints and falcons games are huge because a win against them is a two game swing in the division. no matter what our record or the record of other nfc divisions, win the south and you are in the playoffs. while beating the likes of the eagles, giants, etc. would be nice, the priority has to be the division games. |

Re: Which team? While divisional games are always important & will always be the most important, what about games outside the division. I agree that the Eagles game is important, because it's gonna set the tone for the season. Im looking at MNF against the Cowgirls in Dallas. This is going to be a nationally televised game, and remember last year on MNF against the Bucs? The Panthers caught fire during and after that game. They came out every week after that win ready to blow teams away. Anytime we win a big game like that, it seems to be the fuel needed for the Panthers fire. |

Re: Which team?Just saw a stat by Adam Sheafer of ESPN. Teams that win their first game double their chances of making the playoffs compared to their losing counterparts. |
