All the so-called experts who have never met him doubted his work ethic and ability to learn.  You can't evaluate that without interviewing the man.  I feel the best about our long term future than at any other time.  This is the first time I feel we might have a long term franchise QB on our team. I realize we have a long way to go but I believe Cam can take us to the promised land and more than once.

I was impressed he didn't throw a pass even close to being intercepted.  He never took off running either which surprised me.  He is going to learn how to play the position.  He seems to understand a QB who throws is more effective than one who primarily runs.  It took Mike Vick a long time to learn that lesson.

since the day they drafted him...i have felt that Newton would be the starter from game one onward...it's just the difference b/t Primerib and Rumproast...one simply brings more to the table...

We'll know in the every near future how it all breaksdown once that firstgame rolls around!
