This game sets up perfectly for the Panthers heres why:

1 - The Eagles are 1 and 3 in the last 4 years on opening day.
2 - The Eagles starting five offensive linemen didn't take a single preseason snap together due to injuries across the line. Both tackles Jason Peters and Stacy Andrews are new and Winston Justice (only 1 career start) will be replacing Shawn Andrews (aka the Beast). Lick yer chops Pep, Brown and Brayton.
3 - The Eagles lost their MLB (Stewart Bradley) for the year and with the exit of Safety Dawkins to free agency they will be very thin up the middle, moreover they will lack the leadership on the field. Oh yeah a rookie 5th round pick who started camp as a cornerback will be holding down that starting safety position. Look for LOTS of Double Trouble up in there as well as a few dump passes to the TE's.
4 - With all the talk about Stew coming back, no one is talking about where Goodson will get his touches. Look for Smitty wide and Goodson in the slot.
5 - Brian Westbrook turned 30 earlier this month and 30 is the age a lot of backs fall off. To the end, he didnt play a single down in the pre-season dealing with knee problems.
6 - With Sean McDermott taking over for Jim Johnson I am pretty sure Fox and Davison would like to get up early and im guessing have a few wrinkles for the rookie coach.
