Penalties....

One has to wonder if we will be plagued with the Penalty issues again this season? 

With the strength of our schedule I don't think we can absorb the loss of yardage that we sustained due to penalties like we did last year.  So I ask, will it be an issue again?

The Cats were 15th in penalties last year and I don't know of a reason why that would be much different this year, though they were pretty sloppy at times in preseason.

Game 2 in the dome in MN last year they had a ton of false starts and 12 total penalties. They play four games in domes this year - ATL, NO, DAL, AZ, none of which are really known for noise like MN.

I just hope they stay away from the big penalties and the blocks in the back penalties on returns that make for horrible field position.

Not sure where the penalties would come from this year, the O-Line (save for Gross and his ill timed false starts) should be good. I guess the D-line is more suspect with the new guys in the middle.
