well it is offical the dreaded offical news being....Beason will miss the remaining 94% of the season with a torn achilles...surgery later this week

i may be wrong about this...it is nt hard scientific fact just observation....but it seems to me that most often achilles injuries occur early in the initial stages of a athletes season....look at all the achilles injuries that took place this season during NFL training camps...how many injuries of this type do we hear about in mid season???? not many....I'm dissappointed the Panthers didnt take a more conservative approach with Beason...he had but 1 practice under his belt and the foot was sore enough to miss the rest of the weeks practice times
