I know we shouldn't put stock into the rankings because they mean nothing, but how in the world does anyone put the Peytonless Colts anywhere above us? That being said I have not been this excited for the next Panther's game since the '08 season that took us to the playoffs.
I know we didn't run well but it was obvious the Cards were going to stop the run and force Cam to beat the, which was a great idea until he did. Take away 3 busted plays that went for TDs and this could have been a very different outcome.
I counted this game as an automatic L when looking at the schedule, but Cam has me believing in this team again. His ability to get the ball to Smith, to force a spy because he can burn you with his feet, and his absolute anger in losing a football game. Cam is going to be one of those QBs that says screw the stats I want the prize, which is what we want and need out of our QB. If Cam can throw for 200 yds and at least a TD against the Packers and we are competative I would be happy, but after Sunday the dude has me believing that he can lead this team to some Ws and the beauty is that his teammates feel the same way.
