Anyone else going to kinda feel bad for Jacksonville next week??Man after today I am confidant that we can run toe to toe with anyone in the league with the exception of maybe N.E. right now. I would LOVE another crack at G.B. and maybe we will get it in January. Things are slowly coming together and by mid season I think well be in full stride here. Ok on to next week. Did anyone see Cam at the end of the game?? Man was he pissed off or what?? It's going to get really ugly next week when the Jags come to town. This will be a great tune up for Chicago. (since I live in Chicago, I might head up there to see the game). I think were gonna run right down their throats and pretty much be unstoppable on offense. The defense will get a nice break from the great offenses and receivers that we have faced to open up the season. Don't worry guys. We'll be back to .500 by this time in 2 weeks. |

Re: Anyone else going to kinda feel bad for Jacksonville next week??With all due respect, the lastime the Panthers were going to mop up on another NFL team it was AZ in the '08 playoffs for God sakes!!! They can be confident of their capacity to win...but best never again feel like a W will be handed to them by any other NFL team...Jacksonville or NE....at 0-2 the Panthers better not look beyond Jack. or 0-3 will hit them right b/t the eyed!!!! |

Re: Anyone else going to kinda feel bad for Jacksonville next week??Oh no one is looking beyond Jacksonville... especially the team and coaches... definitely not me either. I think were all going to enjoy this one quite a bit after 2 heart break losses. Not saying much but were the best 0-2 football team in the league and could easily be sitting at 2-0 right now. We WILL get this win and the game will be over by halftime... not that well shut it down in the 2nd half or anything. It will just have been decided by that point... watch. |

Re: Anyone else going to kinda feel bad for Jacksonville next week??While I see your point husker, I think the team is totally different now. We have not put up numbers like this in the air since... well ever.

Re: Anyone else going to kinda feel bad for Jacksonville next week??The offense must gain a sense of balance. Being one dimensional is a recipe for disaster offensively. How quickly does everyone forget the run first, second, and third mentality of the Fox regime. This pass first, second, and third mentality is no different. Teams will shut it down soon once there is enough tape out there of Newton and this new offense. |

Re: Anyone else going to kinda feel bad for Jacksonville next week??I tend to agree but MAN this is an exciting team to watch right now! Wow, never in all the 16 years have we had so much offense out there. I expected a letdown this week from Cam but terry badshaw needs to start sending Cam apology cards because he has proved the haters WRONG, including the ones on this site-HA! Now I expect this week to be a letdown from the young protege but get our run game back on track. What about that D? Lights out. We could not have asked anything more from this team given all the factors and WE WOULD NOT GET BEAT BY GB 8 OUT OF 10 TIMES LIKE I SAID. I look for a defensive showdown this week from old rivals with a few spectacular plays separating the winner. If we have the + on the turnovers, Panthers walk away with the win. Cam for President? No, no not yet. Kid is special- |

Re: Anyone else going to kinda feel bad for Jacksonville next week??You know what's exciting? It's watching this team grow up before our eyes! Their playing with zeal and excitement and they're having a good time! Smitty is having the time of his life! This is a hapy team that's hungry for a win! My only disappointment yesterday was the loss itself. We weren't supposed to win, or even be close, and for a half, we were ahead of the world champions, for goodness sake! I know our guys were disappointed, but at the same time were pleased with the progress they've made. They're growing in confidence; in both the offensive and defensive systems. You have to also be pleased with the way Bell played in place of Otah. Good things appear to be ahead! |
