you forgot...What else could go wrong...how about two 1000 yd rushers who cannot get untracked...and/or...a OL which is derailed in it's run blocking tenacity...and/or...kick buttism!

I agree, husker. We have a guy that was undrafted and beat out a drafted player named Thomas Williams that could get his chance to shine with the starters. Rivera (rightly) wouldn't say who would take T.D.'s place in the starting lineup, but whomever shows up at practice wanting the gig bad enough will have big shoes to fill. I hope our aquisitions via the draft and FA make us proud.

On a more personal note, if T.D. is done playing because of this, it's a tragedy and I wish him the best. He's been such a professional, and done so much to deal with recovery from this injury. Hopefully he can come back from it, but I hate to say I'm skeptical after a third identical injury. Whatever he does, he should always be remembered as a great Panthers linebacker. God bless you, T.D. and have a speedy recovery.

I know man...can we ever catch a break from that damn injury bug....go fuckin bite the 'aints or some shit....52 and 58...man....this sucks..i know its a part of the game...but TD..i pray for them both and hopefully they come back next year with a strong vengance

The brace (he was wearing) would not have avoided the leg getting whipped and triggering the ACL again. I almost could feel the wear on the ACL just watching him. He was stretching it to the limit and it broke again. I think he knew it was probably going to happen. Didn't everyone say coming back from one was a miracle but from 2 was down right unbelievable?
