Re: Offensive Line, people!

Apparently you didn't watch the game or you'd know what I was talking about.  He dodged several tackles and had GREAT presence before he had 2 line-backers coming at him full speed on every down.  There are VERY FEW QB's who could avoid sacks or bad plays when that is going down.

I love how when things go great it's because of Smith/D-Will/etc and when things go bad only Jake is to blame.  It's the type of logic that makes Socrates turn over in his grave that the human mind could be so poorly used.

one of foxy's most despisable traits imo,is his blatant favoritism,a quality that you share with him.

Actually at the start of the game Jake's pocket presence avoided several sacks as he kept plays alive with his legs.  Only Michael Vick (and maybe not even him) could have avoided the majority of pressure our O-Line gave up to the Eagles defense today.

Not the O-Line's fault?  ROFL.  So their job is to let Blitzers come through un-touched?  I'd like to see you take a snap when you know you have about 1 second to make a decision and read the defense b/c the line in front of you sucks.
We could have patched up the weakness our line has in Kalil and Vincent but Fox is too bad and stupid of a coach to adjust his game plan.

Jake went into desperation mode, yes, but our O-line needs so major upgrades if Fox doesn't want to sacrifice our tight end on blitzes  for another back to cover up their mistakes.
You say I'm dumb yet you think that the OL needs upgrades?!?! Otah and Kalil are in their 2nd and 3rd years. Gross and Wharton just got bramd new extensions so the only one that could be replaced is Vincent. We have about 1.4 mil in cap space. How are we going to sign anyone with that?? SF has our first round pick. You say I'm dumb for saying how I saw things. [Edited] Thats a better idea then your thinking that Delhomme "kept plays alive with his legs". STFU.

Still don't understand why Foster was starting over D-Will for 2 years.

Re: Offensive Line, people!

Fail argument is fail.

I never mentioned Gross or Otah.  Our tackles were fine today and are 2 of the best in the league.  The DE's aren't what killed us. And Wharton is a pretty good guard.  Notice how I I never mentioned those 3 of our starters....

Not only did you fail to address my claims of the O-Line's duty during a passing play [edited].  The center and guard positions were man-handled today and you are acting like the O-line had a great day.  They had a TERRIBLE day--the worst day I've seen in a long time.

But Fox had the worst day and is now on Jerry Richardson's hot seat.  This team has too much talent to play like this and J-Rich wants to see a championship here.  Fox isn't talented enough of a coach to ever win one.  He gets out-coached on a daily basis.

I never once said that our OL had a great day. But like I have been saying, Fox doesn't make the necessary changes during the game or during halftime. A normal coach would of slid protection over or left a RB / TE in to help. Fox won't do that. I would rather see him go beofre Delhomme. If Fox would of made those changes then we wouldn't be having this conversation.
