I was looking forward to watching Newton work with the extra so called "curse" breaking motivation, and I wanted a panther on the cover...but lets examine another dimension here. Last year the cover vote was down to Vick and Hillis, Hillis won and had a terrible injury/virus hampered year, this we all know. What is less talked about though, in fact, I have never heard this anywhere else, is Vick also got hurt and had a slack year and missed the playoffs. I bet if you go farther and farther back each round you will find more players just the same. The Polamolau Fitgerald year, one got hurt and one didnt. Its not a curse its a law of numbers. There will Never be a year where no one in the NFL gets Hurt. And at some point during the season almost all players have had some type of injury its just a question of did they miss a game and did it hurt their game for a prolonged period. By the way Calvin Johnson had a foot injury all year last year. He was on my fantasy team and there were a few games that I had to check it out on Sunday just to make sure. Im not gonna be shocked if he has some type of bad year, but Im still making him my number 1 keeper in my league. The second spot either belongs to Arian Foster, Cam Newton, and a honorable mention to Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and best for last is #89. I robbed my opponents last year with an amazing draft and I dont wanna give up my players. Im gonna try to talk the Commish into making our league a 3 person keeper instead of a two, and since Im the Commish Im thinkin its not gonna be that hard LOL. Back to my original point though.
