Don't be disappointed bro!  This guy is one of the better LBs to come out of the draft in a very long time.  A draft grade of 91, and his highlights show that he absolutely flies to the football!  Our LB corp is solidified even if Davis, which you have to admit is a long shot, doesn't make it back from the ACL injuries.  There is plenty of talent available for the later rounds, and I think we are in for a very good draft.  IMO our defensive front will be just fine this year, and I still think we will add a young guy to the mix with a mid round pick.  We will be fine, like I said earlier any draft pick is just an addition to an already talented football team.  Stay positive my friend...lol!

14 hrs later I gotta say I have warmed up to the pick...and must admit to the fact that I was hoping there would be a LB need for the Panthers in the 2nd rd...Really think L David of N is going to be good, but profess a N player bias...

Kuechly covers alot of need and potential need for the club...who knows about TD...and who really knows about Beason (they say any Achilles injury a guy typeically losses 10% of his speed---he may be back but may not be back as the old Beason)

CB-WR-OG-DT...who evey they get with #40...should be a quality player who can play some downs in 2012!

some mock ftom somewhere had a team in front of the panthers raking this guy so I had a mild thought he may be the choice. am sure surprise though...I thought CB WR or DT would be the priority over a OG!
