I got the impression that the kid was operating on little to no sleep and was running on empty once the media got their shot at him (think he said his house guests stayed alot longer than he expected the night of the draft & he said he got a couple 3 winks when on his flight to QC)

My thoughts on Kuechly...I'm damn sure glad we got him!!  I am praying that Thomas Davis has fully recovered from his injuries, but the thought of him going down early is one that I just couldn't get away from.  When you look at it, it is a LONG shot for him to be able to compete for an entire season.  Enter Kuechly, and those worries are extinguished!

Platooning at linebacker is, IMO, a great idea.  It should reduce TD's injury risk significantly while maintaining a high level of productivity on the field.  Picking Kuechly makes a lot of sense when you realize what a vital role he will play immediately on the team.

I believe in modern day miracles as they fit into the Big Guys plans...I hope it still is a part of TD's big plan but football maybe a a part of TD history at this point...3 ops in 3 yrs on same knee...again miracles can happen and I hate to be a doubter...but I am glad to have Kuechly and think it most wise that the brass drafted a LBer!

(LOL...I would have prefered a DE or DT at #9 and than TB's new WLB LaVonte David as a Panther in the second round...but from here on out I hope Kuechly always always out plays David in the Car -v- TB games to come!!!!)
