Re: NFC south player rankingsJStew is a better runner by far, IMO. I consider JStew an ever down pack with the speed, power, and size needed. DWill has that burst and the elusiveness to be that second guy to go out when the defense is winded.

Re: NFC south player rankingsDWill is the better RB in pass protection. They both have "home run" ability and I think Dwill is the more elusive back while Stew has the size but he doesn't seem to do as well up the middle as DWill. It could just be his mentality. Or because Dwill is smaller and harder to find (like Sproles). Overall I think Dwill when healthy is the better every down back. |

Re: NFC south player rankingsit has been a great 1-2 punch...or 2-1 punch(what ever the rotation or who starts/gets the hot hand) as they both add a great deal to the offense. think they both are certainly capable of being the featured back but who know how either would hold up with 20+ carries per game over 16 games!?! Love them as a package and the ability to package them together speaks to their team-player mentality! |

Re: NFC south player rankingsSo Smitty is number 8. Bull****. I'll give Brees number 1 but Smitty is number 2. He is the most competitive SOB in the league. The toughest guy in the league. With speed and jumping ability and great hands. I can't think of any argument for anybody to be higher than Smitty except the 1st or 2nd QB in the league. |
