Triple threatJust saw this headline on CBS sports about triple threats on offense. I quickly paged down to find a chart with Kirwan's top 10 teams with triple threats. I expected to see Newton, Smith, and Williams. I think Stewart is a better all around back due to pass catching ability but either Stewart or Williams I get. Here is the list of teams.

Re: Triple threatIMO, Tolbert is one the finest offensive free agent pickups the Panthers have ever signed. He is a MAJOR upgrade for our offense, and will especially prove his value in the red zone and on 3rd down. Yes my brother, he will be a huge part of the offense. |

Re: Triple threatPlus you know darn well that he didn't leave a million buckskins on the bargoning table just to come sit around and play 2-3-4 snaps a game! I think Chud and Rivera assured him that he would be a intregal and very viable weapon for the Panther offense!!!! |

Re: Triple threatI absolutely agree, he's gonna be a workhorse for us this year. And as previous years have shown, unfortunatley either DWill or JStew will have some sort of injury this year and Tolbert will take advantage of the opportunity. Better than weak armed Goodson carrying the rock. But of course I hope they all stay healthy! |

Re: Triple threatTo have a pass-catching full-back in the game is a huge thing for Cam in his second season. If all his safety valves are shut out at WR, TE, and RB, he can dump it to Tolbert, who's a little battering ram after the catch. Expect to see a lot of 1st downs credited to him having sure hands and a mow-em-down philosophy after the catch. |
