I'll chime in with the other good notes. Kueckly looks like a monster! He was all over the field and was always around the ball. He had several tackles and a forced fumble in less then one quarter of play. Adam Jones had that one CRAZY punt return that was freaking AWESOME! He did almost mess up with the punt that bounced right at his feet, but that's just a simple rookie mistake.

As for the offense looking bland and flat, they are shaking off the rust and also going with no game plan. Seeing our starters for two or three series hardly allows for an accurate picture.

As for our D. You have to keep in mind that they also went against two starting QB's last night. Schaub is a proven QB, and Yates was the one who took them to the playoffs last year. Our D locked down the red zone. They also had two takeaways early. I think they will continue to get better and be a vast improvement from last year.

The one note that i took away that was bad. Poor Clausen looks like a mess. He really had no time to do anything, but he looks like he doesn't trust the line at all. As soon as pressure comes, he started to move and always moved right into the pressure. If I had to guess, he will not be here after his rookie contract is up.
