obviously, DJ had his problems the first two years and while certain things are inexcusable, like his DUI, i will say this in his defense, with nfl players having to be 3 years removed from high school to be draft eligible, a lot of the problems that the nba deals with that are related to immaturity are avoided in the nfl.  but DJ was 20 when his rookie year started and maybe some of his issues are clearing up because maybe, he is just maturing.  he is entering his third year in the league and is only 22.  hopefully, he is growing up and this year, we will see the player that we hoped we'd be getting when we drafted him.

A vast improvement for Dwayne Jarrett doesn't really mean a whole lot. Not only beacuse he had alot of areas to improve on, but because the coaching staff wont let him in the game. He's made a few good catches in the past but in order to see these improvements we need to see him in action. Not to mention, in the action that he did get on monday-he looked lost.

I have defended Jarret as being very young, only 20 when he came out, and not getting enough chances.  After mondays game I'm worried he didn't look like first team talent.  I was hoping this year he would replace Moose on the first team.  I love Moose but for god sakes I don't understand why a 22 yr old with 2 yrs exp and Jarretts size can't beat Muhammad out.  I love Moose but he is old and should be the best number 3 receiver in the league.  It is time for Jarrett to step up.  He is making it very hard to defend him on these message boards.
