BEASON'S PT

Hope the  Panthers have a plan for easing Beason back into the lineup...meaning limit his initial downs to say 20 snaps -v- TB and if all goes well with the achillies add 4 aditional snaps per game until he is back to a full time player!

He is coming off a major injury with a full season in front of him...take it easy or slow and controlled with his reps...and workback into a full game of downs played!!!

last season he was in this same situation...he had barely practice and than turns around and tries to play a full ballgame...totally ridiculous...thus such a potential for reinjury should be avoided

thought?????

Re: BEASON'S PT

I agree.  Same situation last year.   I hope they take it slow with him and TD.    We will see.

Re: BEASON'S PT

One place we are deepest is at LB this year. Bring him in for half time for the first 2 games. Let him build that hunger back. Davis already has that hunger back, just needs to keep the body straight.

On a side note, makes you laugh at the trio of Phillips, Keuchly, and Senn! All white boy LB corp. Haven't seen anything like that in a minute. Phillips looks more like a rowdy DE or DL than LB. Throwback, smash mouth if you ask me. These dudes can hit though.

Throwback is right...all the way back to the Steelers of the 1970's...Lambert-Ham-and one other slow footed white LB...but they surely would knock ur pecker off as hitters...those original Steel Curtain Defenses of the 1970's were the football version of an Oreo cookie...All Blk DL...All White Lbers...all Blk DB's...LOL!

I agree with this, and I would think the coaching staff would be smart enough to realize this.  We will see though.

Re: BEASON'S PT

I am of the opinion that far to often FO folks, coaches and medical staff people cop-out and leave the close "can he play or should he sitout" decisions up to the players and most often the desire to play clouds the players decision making as to what is best overall...I'd like to think the non-player folks could have the balls to jusy say no...

That said...I personally think what the Washington Nationals baseball club is choosing to do with that young stud pitcher who is coming off of the tommy john operation is very admirable and short term pain-long term gain-Wise!!!
