While the defense was not as solid as I would like, they at least kept us in the game. Our offense will work things out and get going and the D will improve. The silver lining is the Aints lost too.

I was stunned at the offensive showing today.  It was clear that we were not gonna be able to set the edge in the run game, yet and still we tried to run to the edges.  The couple times we pounded the middle we gained positive yards, but we never attacked inside the tackles.

I think we will be fine, but this team needs to gut check themselves after today.  They are too talented for that shit.

IMO it wasn't how little we ran, it was how we tried to run.  The read option was doomed from the start because they were ready for it.  We should have lined up in two back sets, put Cam under center, and smashed them in the mouth between the tackles from the get go.  Its not complicated.  We signed Tolbert for a reason, so let the man get in there and plow some people.

I credit play calling for the 10 rushing yards more than I do the Bucs defense.
