They gotta realize, and I'm sure they do, teams have a ton film on the read option.  Hell, it was even incorporated into the Madden franchise.  It worked last year because it was relatIvely new, and Cam's God given ability to run it is rare.  But, teams are prepared for it now.  It was like the Bucs seen it coming straight out of the huddle.  Let's play some smash mouth football and let this backfield do its thing.

I don't know what tolbert is getting paid, but we could have gotten a blocker for much less I'm sure. I understand why we brought him in, but with Stew out yesterday, he should have been utilized more.

I would've loved to seen him run some Iso's, or a couple power O's up the gut to net some positive yards on first down.

Just throwing this out there, did anyone else get annoyed by Mike Martz's man crush on Josh Freeman?

Also, if you are going to show the man on tv, make sure he isn't wearing a shirt that shows how much he's sweating!

Bottom line for game one: Rivera and his staff got outflanked, outprepared and outcoached by a rookie HC in TB's Shiano! They should have spent more time prepearing for the unexpected instead of all the team bonding stuff during the practice week down in Florida!

A professional offensive line with ALL Pro's to boot...totally confused and asking questions about who to block when Shiano's defensive front seven showed a 8-man front with pressure...that is unacceptable...a pro OL looking like a bunch of confused and bewildered toads!!!!
