Important but we need to bust heads and lay them to bed the entire 60 minutes, not just the opening drive. We could negate the opening drive but give up 40 points in defeat. I'm more concerned with stalling their run attack and limiting the 20+ yard plays that they usually get us for. Their TE's always run amuck and RB's have big showings. I say blitz and hit ryan early in the mouth! Beason needs to wake up and lead this defense, something he has yet to start doing this season. Keuchly is going to feed off of him but he needs to start the blaze. The defense only needs to play half way decent, which is all we can expect this year. The offense on the other hand needs to step up and clown their D like we know we can. Listen, we were tops in the league last year in many a category and need to get back there quickly. Like Rivera said, we are only 1-2, the season is still young. This win would boost our confidence and put us right in the hunt this early season.

Yes but the saints are a good team and we beat them when they played pretty well. The giants are the champs and we blew an egg against them which we vow never to do again. Typically we have done that every year with one or two games. And tampa always plays us tough, no matter who is expected to win. Is the nfc south not the best division in the nfl? Yes it is.
So, we can bounce back even if we lose Sunday, which we won't by the way. We have too much pent up hostility and getting embarrassed on national tv to lose. Our pride is at stake and these guys will answer the call, no doubt. We are still young with many new faces and deficiencies. Add a tough schedule and things get murky early. 2 games in 4 days, c'mon man. That should be illegal. No excuses but we will beat the falcons!
