I hear what you guys are saying bout the desire to bring in a polished and proven HC...makes sense! and again, it blows me away that the club hired a "in process" HC in Rivera...it seems he is trying to figure out what he wants from his team...the plan should have been in place, and if it appeared to be in question or the developmental stages he should not have gone into the next phases of the interview processes IMO!

That said, and for the sake of the discussion...the current Penn State HC I speak of...has NFL experience/with SB ring(s) I may add...and he has already accomplished more with his HC experience in 1/2 a season than Rivera has done the 1.5 yr he has had (with a much much more difficult dynamic I may add)

For the record...one other college HC who IMO who would put out a much much better team than what the club currently has would be the guy currently with Northwestern...Fitzgerald

Think the odds of them bring in even a very proven winner from the college level would be less than 20%...

This GM hire is a huge deal for the organization...I hope The Bigcat can put his desire to win a Super Bowl and have a consistent winner at the forefront of everything...put some pride down, get his hands out of somethings and hire the most hardcore football management man out there...and than let this GM run the show totally!

darius butler just got defense player of the week. Aren't we slack at that position right now? Didn't he play for us just a few short weeks ago? Man, some of these things are just hard to grasp sometimes...
