Elephants, rooms and truth within themI hate having to say this...but lets be honest--most all of us have most likely thought about it...

Re: Elephants, rooms and truth within themI still think Newton can be a much better QB, but only if we get him the right guidance. It doesn't help gettin sacked 7 times either. The Colts are just playing some extremely inspired football for coach Pagano. Chuck Strong has carried that club pretty good, and rightfully so. |

Re: Elephants, rooms and truth within themHate saying it...but the elephant in Newtons room is does he have the right disposition to become as great as his physical abilities would allow!?! Regardless of guidance who is providing it...does he have the internal wear-with-all to convert it all and line it all up for greatness!?!

Re: Elephants, rooms and truth within themHe must mature into a man. Right now he is playing video games, riding go-carts and going to haunted houses in his free time, which is his perogative. But imagine how defenses are lining up to drag him when they know where his heart is. Luck on the other hand has been all business, shaved his head for his coach and been a team player out of the limelight. I don't mind Cameron wanting to be an icon, I just hope he doesn't distance his team in the process. His interviews after the games are crazy. He looks like he is going to freak out or something, or he don't understand the questions. Again, he can act how he wants but sometimes we have to assimilate to please the masses and his pride may be winning out at the moment. These drubbings are humbling and hopefully will spark growth for next year (man, I get tired of saying next year). |

Re: Elephants, rooms and truth within themCam is A freak and could put Luck to Shame if he is willing to grow up, but lets face it he had to play behind Tebow before he quit and transfered to Bein College and then back to LSU, seems like that would he would have been enough to make him grow up and stay serious about being a leader instead of a star struck kid that seems lost. I know our offense is to predictable just like when Foxx was coaching. Last year we caught people by surprise now Cam is going to have prepare like Manning and be serious about being a leader or I guess go back and win an Areina Championship and Play for another Team and win a Super Bowlif he doesn't get hurt. Like I said he has all the tools to be the best and I mean Hall of Fame Great but the Chud has to help or we need a replacement very soon. My hopes were so high for this year, but we have been out plyed and coached, We still have a few more chances and somehow someone has to put that killer instinct back into that big Black Cat. Win or Lose I will always love them they just need to love themselves, |
