i'm just now watching the tv broadcast now.  I was at game yesterday.  We covered there best wideout with 2 safeties and our mlb.  I'm sorry that is stupid  Rivera and McDermott are effing idiots.  I don't think other teams put the safeties and linebackers on Smitty?  I would clean house today if I was Richardson.  I would hire an entirely new staff right now.

On the two pointer I think they were in a zone scheme...zone stinking in that situation IMO cuz the field is so shortened there is very little time for coverage folks to reacte and break on the ball in flight...IMO man to man is the best way to go once the ball gets inside the +10 yd line...

I think Kuechly did a hell of a job for a MLB covering the oppositions number 1 receiver.  We were out coached and out strategized on those two plays where they isolated their number 1 guy and we didn't cover him with any cornerback.  I say cover their number 1 with our number 1 or at least number 2 corner or number 3 corner with safety help.  If coming up with formations to isolate their number 1 on Kuechly is so easy why wasn't Smitty isolated on their MLB Mason Foster?
