Re: Panthers @ Chiefs

Attended the game and the only thing that was nice about the day was the weather--totally fabulous for Dec 2nd! But by days end the Panthers poor play had spoiled even the gorgeous weather!

Seeing the game in person I was totally taken back by the clubs lazafair disposition/attitude/demeanor...there was absolutely no Carpe Diem-Seize the Day attitude at all. The team looked and played like a group of dead beats who thought they were just gonna walk in and be handed a W from the 1-10 KC club!

I was also...not really surprised deeply...but had a surprising confirmation at how little Coach Rivera plays a role in helping to set a fire setting tone with the players! He appears so uninvolved that I dont even know if the players know he attends the games and is on the sideline!

One would think this terrible L to a terrible KC team has sealed Rivera's fate as the clubs HC!

Fixed for no charge lol!!  He has to be the softest corner I have ever seen!  I don't know if it's the way he is coached to play the position or what, but what ever it is, it has to change!

Re: Panthers @ Chiefs

As far as Norman being soft in coverage, I remember hearing Rivera say earlier in the season that he needs to learn to stop contacting players down field. I think they have beaten him into thinking he has to play 10 yds off the receiver so he does not make contact.

I still see a lot of potential in his play though. He has had flashes this year. I do think they have coached him down though...

Re: Panthers @ Chiefs

I agree with McG in that the kid has flashed. Confidence will allow him to challenge WR more aggresively...right now he appears to fearful of giving up a deep ball. He is either gonna go one way or another as a CB...confident enough to play bold or scared enough to play soft! What he has on the inside...in his heart...will determine his rise or fall as a starting NFL CB!
