There where a few things that stood out in the pro bowl last year. NFC pulling an onside kick is one. But I did see an intensity ramp up when Cam came in. In all honesty, if the players did in fact go after him for the way he acted I am bothered by that. I can not help but to think it may have been more productive to talk to the kid and tell him to tone it down. Not play harder against him while his offensive line acts like bull fighters letting pass rushers waltz by them.
I am not one to defend bad behavior. If Cam acted like a tool during the pro bowl, then he should learn from this and not do it again. But sometimes people read things wrong. for instance,
I remember seeing a video of a fan in England calling to Busta Rhymes, and he quickly passed the fan without saying anything and began to get back on his bus. The fan spoke out and called him an @sshole. He stopped and said "I am in a rush because I have to use the bathroom."
Sometimes things look far different from what it looks like. Maybe the "now's not the time" was really "I am about to crap myself and need to run before I do"
All that aside, apparently this writer is no fan of Cam and had written bad things about him in the past. Releasing this a year removed from the Pro Bowl seems a bit forced. Must be really slow in the sports news world.
