Just think about what would have happened if that had been Delhomme that took that hit?!?!  Can you freaking imagine having to sit through an entire season of Mccown as the starter?  At least we know that Delhomme can be good.  There isn't any hope for Mcclown. 

As far as them not being that high on Moore,  I think it has more to do with the fact that as of now we are sitting with a struggling vet, a 3 year kid and an undraffted rookie of the practice squad.  My guess is Moore is No. 2 at this point in time.

This is not at all surprising. Well wishes for McCown, but it was obvious that he was not a future starter.  Feeley also has prior starting experience and hopefully will be an upgrade as a backup.  Ideally, Matt Moore would fit the role of future starter, but the fact that he is listed as third in the prior rotation as well as hiring Feeley indicates that he is not the starter of the future (note that the fans are not present during practice and it would seem he has not won exhibited that role).

I think the best that the Panthers should hope for is for 1) the offensive line to fix their problems blocking and 2) Jake Delhomme figures out his timing and confidence issues.  Like it or not it appears with Jake's contract he is our quarterback for the next two years.  I think everyone should route for a turnaround with Jake whether it is his unkowlingly tipping plays (as some have suggested) or whatever else the problem is.

Jake and Fox have indicated that all the practices have gone well and I would actually believe this, so if that then what is the problem?  Did Philadelphia know plays by unintentional tipping or was it the blitzing that the Panthers were so unprepared for?  There are just a few days to fix this,,,, but my thoughts are let's fix it and beat Atlanta!!!!
