I would let Delhomme play until the bye week unless he has another Philly/Arizona game. Fox can't bench someone that is only 1 game into a $20 million guarenteed contract. If he averages 1 TD or less and more then 2 int's between those  games then Jake better get ready for one of those nice Panthers sideline hats and a headset. If Delhomme stinks it up and Fox doesn't replace during the bye week then I hope that Richardson kicks Fox's soory a$$ right out of BOA. I already want John "I don't make any game adjustments" Fox out of here after the season.

Jake had pretty decent time against Arizona and sometimes against philly and he still didnt hit his open targets--I always hear how we are going to involve our tighends more we did a real good of that yesterday all 3 of them combined for 2 catches and 2 yeards! Jarett ran some good routes too, oh wait he was on the sideline most the game with a baseball hat on--Where was Kenny Moore???

The most popular option as of now (one game redeemer) is sort of ambiguous as it doesn't have anything on what happens if he does or doesn't redeem him self.  Its kind of like this should be a two part poll.

If he does redeem himself, let it ride until he has two more bad games in a row (wins or losses).

If he doesn't redeem himself, bench him and start Moore.  However, Foxy would probably start Feeley over Moore because of his 'experience', which would be counter-productive to figuring out a potential future option at QB.

I say we do this...
Let Feeley come in and start right away, letting Jake fall back to #2. Leave the competition open every week until Jake comes back to form. He needs to be pressed. If Feely cannot press him, bring in Garcia (because he won't be in Philly long-trust me). Make Jake compete each and every week until playoffs. If he can show up and get it done, the job is still his. As I said many times before, I have been his biggest supporter until now. I agree with whatever coach wants to do but we need to go another way next year, something substantial qb wise. I don't know if rookie qb is the answer because so many teams drafting before us will jump on them. Maybe try and work a trade for a quality qb. I still like Tavaris Jackson in Charlotte. That is what I would concentrate on. I don't care for JaMarcus Russell but he will probably be on the block after this season too. Jake's ego is crushed (beyond bruised) and I can't remember anyone coming back from that in a while. Kerry Collins did it but can't remember many more.
