Re: Stop Whining. It doesn't matter who they put in the game, if the O-Line doesn't step up whoever is back there is gonna get destroyed. If would also be nice to remind the OC that we have this running back named Williams who can score in bunches. So it would be a good idea not to lose your head, Mr Davidson, when we get down by a couple of scores and start tossing the ball all over the field. What's wrong with this team starts with the coaching staff. |

Re: Stop Whining. These are great points. How many turnovers would he have had if he stayed in the game. I wonder what the world record is for turnovers Jake has got to be getting close. If Moore isn't ready then fire the coaches. It is their fault that after 2 years he is not ready to step in. Moore should be our best option not bringing in another journeyman back up with no experience in our system. When Bledsoe sucked in Dallas they brought in their no name backup and he has played pretty well. Not saying I want Romo but what is the point of keeping a young guy on your squad if you can't get him up to speed in 3 seasons and ready to step in. Cassel filled in admirably for Brady and Cassel looked terrible in the preseason last year. This should be Moores job. And I never thought David Carr should have been obtained. He had his chance in the NFL and proved he sucked. Just like McCown and Feeley have had their chances and shown that they are not starting QB material. |

Re: Stop Whining.Wrong. I didn't want Carr here but I've always pushed for Moore. Moore has been dragged through the mud here, it's no wonder the young man even wants to play for this team. They constantly doubt his abilities, they bring in second rate QB's who are no more than career backups in place of him, they dont give him a chance to shine with all the weapons # 17 has. Moore has not had any kind of opportunity to prove himself so I dont understand how you can say he's not the answer when in the times he did start he went 2-1 in December 2007 when he was a rookie. Fox & company are to blame for not putting major emphasis on the QB position. |

Re: Stop Whining.I agree we all know 17 is starting this week--If he starts playing poorly early I say pull him out and put Mat Moore in-Hopefully the score will be close and we can see what mat can do when the game is close and we arnt getting blown out--When Moore played against the cowboys we had a chance to win that game if it wasnt for a blown Pass Interference call we could have won that game--The game against ATL is so important for us to win 0-2 is a big hole but 0-3 means no playoffs |
