Re: Fox must go!!Still not a losing season. ANd if people are gonna quote one they should quote the other. The media darlings are in the same boat as us with never having back to back winning seasons with 30+ more years in the league but they can not claim the latter point made earlier. |

Re: Fox must go!!Most veteran coaches that end up lossing their jobs...lose some close games, then they begin the loss the team/lockerroom...the way last year ended, the off-season clamor and the way this season has started leads me to wonder if this process is beginning to take hold---if he losses the lockerroom the Foxonian era in Carolina could go down in flames this season... |

Re: Fox must go!!I'm afraid you are correct cornhusker. Fox's formula works when he has the defense and running game but he is unwilling to adapt if needed. He is the type of coach who can field good to very good teams but I doubt he would ever win the super bowl. 2004 was probably the closest he will ever come. The problem is who do we get. A lot will want Cowher but I don't believe he is the solution. I think the team needs a guy with fire. I like the Jets current situation, of course when they start losing then Ryan is just a buffoon, when winning he is a lot of fun and very entertaining. I hope whoever is hired understands that QB is the most important position in team sports. Our team is configured bassakwards if you ask me. A d. end no matter how good shouldn't be the highest paid player on the team. |

Re: Fox must go!!See that [ / quote that does not have a ] at the end. You apparently deleted it while you started typing your post. If you edit that and put that ] after the [ / quote and make it [ / quote ] it will end the quote where it supposed to send... |

Re: Fox must go!!Fox should go if we end up with a 6 or 7 win season, but it is to early to talk about firing a coach--the steelers could be 0-2 if it wasn't for the field goal against the titans--I am nervous about the cowgirls since they have 2 good running backs and sometimes Romo can play a good game--but if we can pull out a victory against them we could win the next 3 against TB and Washington and buffalo |

Re: Fox must go!!Umm, its third most wins in the NFC behind Dallas & Philly & this "great" coach cannot make adjustments, cannot have back to back winning seasons, cannot get his team to the playoffs back to back, cannot gameplan & be prepared for other teams, makes bad decisions based on loyalty, makes bad decisions about players & their salaries, & is way too conservative. Great coaches gameplan, great coaches adjust, great coaches dont settle for game managers at the most important position on offense. Fox is mediocre just like this team.
