The post about Fox's job made me think is firing Mark Richardson the beginning of the end for the current regime(hurney/fox).  Often the front office gets cleaned out with the coach.  You can go into a season with a change in team president it doesn't really affect the players.  You can't however really fire your GM and head coach 1 week prior to the season you would have to wait till the end of the season.  If you fire your coach now who do you replace him with?  In our case it is probably a much less qualified assistant.  We have never had a guy with a lot of fire and I think we need one now.  When Fox was hired we needed a disciplinarian and he was that.
