Attention: Bill Cowher is on our BoardFor these past several years there has been a particular member of our board that has been calling for the firring of John Fox. I have never understood why he would blast Fox continuously without mercy. Didn't matter if we won or lost his cry is "Fox needed to go". For years he has been laying seeds of decent in the ranks on this board and now at 0-2 half of Panther Nation is crying for Fox and Hurney's head. Who is this man you ask? Why it is non other than our own Carolina#1Reporter or should I call you Bill Cowher? |

Re: Attention: Bill Cowher is on our BoardWell, with that topic in mind, do any of you think Fox and Hurney's heads are truly on the chopping block if we go into the bye week 0-4? I said in an earlier post that I didn't think so, and that it would take a playoff miss for J.R. to do the deed. I think Fox's comments about the new DEF scheme taking time to gel and the injury bug not helping matters is dead-on. Now, if once we get healthy (DT position not withstanding), we're still not executing the Tampa-2 to a positive result, I say fire/don't rehire Meeks and let's get someone in here that can get us back to 2003, 2005 DEF form. God, I knew we'd miss Del Rio. But even Jacksonville's DEF looks like glass this season. Where's our Rex Ryan? |

Re: Attention: Bill Cowher is on our BoardI think it would take a couple of years of bad teams to drop Fox. Him and Hurney have drafted very well over the years and I think the defense is having problems due to inj and the new system as fox stated. If we miss the playoffs this year and next year and our team just sucks then I think Richardson shows Fox the door, but Richardson never gets to high and he never gets to low. He knows football and I think he will do whats right for the team. |
