Two for one: Peppers/StewartRight before the growl sight change I had but out this question re: 90's pass rushing and because of the change I was not able to hear opinions---so I'm trying again...remember Reggie Whites inside pass rush move, think he called the "hump"?...basically he clubed the OT with his inside arm & than punched across the OT with his outside arm giving him a great inside move...I wonder why 90 does not use this move as he often times seems to get driven/road up field past the QB with his outside rush...this inside "hump"? move would seem to be a great counter technique to an already great pass rusher...thoughts?

Re: Two for one: Peppers/StewartI understand you are saying that JP is not as great as RW...AGREED...but the question is could he be better with a development of this move...fact, let's just take 90 out of the mix and I'll rework the question---RW had a great inside pass rush move...because it was a great move and so effective for RW I wonder why it is not used by NFL calibur DE's??? Was this inside rush move unique to RW only because of the pure power he had???? |

Re: Two for one: Peppers/StewartI don't think it would be a good technique for Peppers. Julius seems to rely more on athleticism than brute force, and they have different body frames. White has a lower center of gravity than Peppers so he doesn't have to dip down as much to generate beastly power.
