Yes, but the secondary still cannot tackle and the loose Tampa 2 zone gave up more 3rd and longs when we needed it most. But I am with you on the offense, the play calling in the second half was horrible. And Steve Young has a point, Jake has NO accuracy down the field which means the other teams are just going to choke down on the run and short passes until Jake can prove he can throw it long, which he has yet to do this season.

Jayman, again WAKE UP!  If you see my reply in my thread I started "Release Jake and fire Hurney".  While I won't argue with you that Peppers is not worth the money we are paying for him.  Defense can't play great defense if our offense can't control the ball and let our defense rest. Guess what? Yes, you guessed it that it goes back to our QB!  If our QB can't throw ball then it is easy for other defense to stack up 8 men and play man-to-man defense.  And why didn't our management lower their trading demands for Peppers so we could try to trade for more picks lower than 1st round and for a solid average player who can contribute immediately on defense??
