I know that Delhomme has thrown 7 interceptions in his last 3 games, but really you can't put either of the ones last night on Delhomme.  Both looked like they were the recievers fault(Smitty admits this).  The 1 against the Falcons was on a 4th down and he had to do something, and the first 1 against the Ingles was just a great catch by the defender of a double tiopped ball.  yes we do need to do something about Delhomme because he isn't getting any younger, but I don't think he is our biggest problem.  After last night we have 2 huge problems with our team.

1. Special Teams: they have been anything but.  The difference between the first and second half last night was where the Cowboys started with the ball.  1st half it was around their 20.  Second half it was around their 45.  That makes a huge difference.  If we keep giving FP up like that we might as well not even bother kicking it.

2. Offensive playcalling.  We were down by three point and the coaching staff abandons the run.  Why? I mean Williams was averaging 6+ypc and we start acting like we gotta air it out.  I'm sorry but our offensive play calling was awful last night. Please explain why we keep going to moose on the post when he is too old to beat anyone.  We brought him back to be a possesion reciever not the other Smitty.

Best thing about last night: Our defense.  I know it didn't look great in the second half, but they were on the field for almost the entire second half and played well enough to keep us in the game until we gave up the pick six.  With our offense we should be able to win any game where the defense keeps a team to 13 pts on offense with a contiual short field.
