Delhomme is not our biggest problemI know that Delhomme has thrown 7 interceptions in his last 3 games, but really you can't put either of the ones last night on Delhomme. Both looked like they were the recievers fault(Smitty admits this). The 1 against the Falcons was on a 4th down and he had to do something, and the first 1 against the Ingles was just a great catch by the defender of a double tiopped ball. yes we do need to do something about Delhomme because he isn't getting any younger, but I don't think he is our biggest problem. After last night we have 2 huge problems with our team.

Re: Delhomme is not our biggest problemI wasn't saying that we don't need playat QB. My point is that Delhomme is not our biggest problem. Our offense sucked because we threw the ball twice as much as we ran it. We are not the Saints. We are the Carolina panthers and we win by running the ball down your throat and get you on the PA pass. And our defense did play well. We gave up 13 points to an offense that hung 31 on the Giants last week. I'm not defending Jake here, but I thought it was pretty obvious that both of his picks last night were on Moose and Smitty. |

Re: Delhomme is not our biggest problemOh you mean the underthrown ball to Moose & the pass directly to the defender that went back for 6? |

Re: Delhomme is not our biggest problemFor the fact, the first INT was NOT Moose fault! It was underthrown! It went straight to DB hand and he had it so easily. If Muslin had tried to do anything, he would have earned a pass interference but it wouldn't make any difference because it was a sure thing for DB to pick it off. There was clearly a miscommunication between Smith and JD because you can see Smith going one way and JD throwing other way into DB hand. So two TOs were JD fault. Not one (fumble). |

Re: Delhomme is not our biggest problemDefense is our biggest problem by far. Even when they played "great" for a half there were still major tackling issues. Our D improves and we are fine. If not then...... |

Re: Delhomme is not our biggest problemI think we are to far in the whole for it to matter. Maybe if we played in the NFC West or AFC West we might have a shot, but we are 3 games behind the falcons and Saints now. Pretty sad when our defense is the best thing in a game where we still didn't play great. |
