Re: Good job Peppers

He is 6'7" of pure muscle hes about 7" taller than the average man and about 100x stronger.  He wouldn't be paying you nothing cause you would be dead.

That being said we can't blame peppers for anything.  Sure he is our franchise player and getting paid bank, but he didn't ask for the tag and didn't want it.  Its not his fault he is getting paid that. If you are taged you have to play for what the Tag pays.  I can't hate on him for that, but I also can't say I'll be looking for the Panthers to tag him again.

Re: Good job Peppers

I dont agree, it his fault. When you get paid for a service, you deliver on that service. You go to work to be precise. He hasn't worked at all. If he was getting ok money he could get by with ok play. But he getting BIGTYME money. He's up there with Cash Money Millionaires, weezy and baby. The truth is he got paid like no other DE and he is not even in the top 10 right now after the payday. That is disturbing. If you paid a broker to make you money and he/she lost that skrilla, you would want to kill him right? Pep has NOT lived up to his obligation to play like an overpriced sob that he is.

Church!

Re: Good job Peppers

I don't think he really cares too much about living up to his contractual obligations (I'm not actually sure what is in the contract, though..), but I am more suprised that he's not killing since he's still auditioning for a new contract.

Unless he knows that if he plays poorly, the Panthers won't tag him again and he'll finally be a FA but with much less value.  So, he's taking his $17 mil now to make up for the money he'll have lost by sandbaggin it all season and be fresh and healthy for whoever he plays for next season.

Damn, Pep's (or his agent) a genius.

Re: Good job Peppers

Oh he's a genius alright. The problem is he will sit atop the list of NC's most hated when all is said and done. Right up there with Shinn, Wooldridge, and Carruth. From hometown darling to hometown ho in one fell swoop.
