Re: Should we bring in Garcia?

You knew someone was going to bring it up, might as well be me. I say hire the guy and give him a chance. He burned us up pretty good a few times. I always felt he was a threat. Mobile, accurate, gritty. I know he is west coast yada-yada but I say bring him in this week and give him the reigns. Whats the real down side?

Re: Should we bring in Garcia?

And...whenever a new Q is seriously sought out...here is to hoping that they try to find one is considered a mobile QB....a guy who can move around and make a play when the pocket begins to break down... the Qb is generally the one person that is unaccounted for in pass coverage (unless of course he is being spyed ala Vick by Panthers after he burned them countless time with his scrambling ability) and a guy that can creat a play on 3rd and long by scrambling or running is just a killer for a D to have to face...Carolina could sure use a moving target...as is the team would seemingly prefer to play with statues who are done once the pocket seems to start to break apart!!!

Re: Should we bring in Garcia?

Garcia = The Answer.

He doesn't know our offense and probably couldn't run it too well.  A lot of his success came off of little dink and dunks down the field (read: west coast offense).  Also, there's a reason that he's not being brought in anywhere to compete for a starting job, though Cleveland might want to give him a call.

Re: Should we bring in Garcia?

I wish Pep wanted to go to Cleveland. We could get Anderson for him. I seen that kid play and he is good. Can't believe Quinn got the nod this year but that might change this week from what I hear.
